The Universal Mediation of Mary

Turning to Mary as our Universal Mediatrix is not a type of pious whim followed by a specific category of Catholics. Rather, it is a practice that the Church has taught and proclaimed in every age and place. Our Lady’s loving mediation between God and humanity complements the supreme mediation of our Divine Redeemer because such was His express wish.

To demonstrate this and resolve common dilemmas surrounding Our Lady’s universal mediation, this series provides solid doctrine and proofs gleaned from Theology, Tradition, and the Magisterium. It offers participants a stroll through compelling Gospel episodes that reveal the scriptural foundations of this Marian belief.

All of this is vital because lack of awareness among Catholics is sometimes exploited by certain academic or ecclesiastical figures whose biased interpretations of Scripture seek to challenge Mary’s exalted mediating mission.

Since God is powerful to bring good out of evil, such untruths often impel us to embark on deeper and more enjoyable studies on the God-given privileges that adorn our beloved Mother and Queen. This course is one such study, intended for all Catholics who wish to better understand, love, and defend Mary’s grandeurs.

Fr. Timothy Ring, EP

Fr. Timothy Joseph Ring is originally from St. Louis, Missouri. From a deeply religious and Catholic family, he began his vocational journey at the relatively young age of 16, when he consecrated himself to Jesus through Mary, following the method of St. Louis de Montfort. After 20 years as a consecrated layman in the Heralds of the Gospel, he was ordained as a priest in 2006. He has served the community in missions in different parts of the globe: in North and South America, as well as in Europe. His native language is English, but he also speaks Italian, Spanish and Portuguese fluently.
