Summary of the Course

 

What is courtship, or dating, really about? How should a person decide if it’s the right time to start dating? How should the relationship develop? If such questions nag at you as you take steps in your own life, or seek to prepare your children for marriage, then you’ve found the right course!

 

In five dynamic videos on the principles and values that should guide Catholic courtship, this course examines the purposes and benefits of this phase. Together, we will tackle common doubts on dating, in the light of Catholic doctrine, principles of spirituality and psychology, and the instructor’s life experience.

Fr. François Bandet, EP Fr. François Bandet, EP

Father François Bandet EP, born in Rantoul, (Illinois, USA) in 1962, is a French-Canadian from the city of Chicoutimi (Québec). After 35 years as a consecrated layman in the Catholic Community of the Heralds of the Gospel, he was ordained a priest on July 22, 2009 for the Clerical Society "Virgo Flos Carmelii". He obtained a licentiate (2009) and a doctorate (2015) in Fundamental Theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome (Italy) and a licentiate (2021) in Philosophy at the Centro Universitário Ítalo Brasileiro in São Paulo (Brazil). He collaborates with the Thomist magazine "Lumen Veritatis" and is currently a missionary in Brazil.
