Lesson 33  – How to Prepare for the Consecration Ceremony

Finally we have arrived at the last lesson of the Consecration Course. Here you will learn how to prepare yourself for the Consecration Ceremony, in order to offer yourself totally to the Mother of God and thus truly become part of the legion of devotees of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Important information about the Consecration Ceremony

Salve Maria! May the peace of God be with you!

Well, we have completed our lessons! First of all, we should give thanks to Our Lady for leading us with so many blessings along this path. 🙏
There may have been arduous and challenging moments, more difficult meditations, doubts, temptations, but the most important thing is that you have come this far! 👏🏻 And you are now prepared for your consecration!
Some notices:

Online Consecration Ceremony Mass

Our Consecration will be on Saturday, November 5th!
I will have the joy of celebrating the Holy Mass of Consecration, which will be broadcasted LIVE 🔴 on Youtube, at 7pm US time (CDT), on November 5th. (in some countries, due to the time zone, it will be on the 6th in the morning)

Activate the reminder to attend this Holy Mass at this link:
Check the time in your country on youtube streaming.

At this Holy Mass, we will make our Consecration together. 🙏
You can follow this Mass, from your home, in union with other consecrated people, from all parts of the world.
Try your best to have either a statue or a picture of Our Lady near you.
If you are unable to attend at the time of the broadcast, don’t worry, the ceremony will be available for you to watch later.

In-Person Consecration Ceremony in the USA 🇺🇸</3>

If you live in the United States, I have good news for you: In addition to the online Consecration Ceremony, there will be an in-person Consecration Mass, organized by the Heralds of the Gospel.
You are invited:
It will be a very special ceremony that will mark your life. And you will give great joy to all the Heralds, for being able to meet you personally, on this occasion.
The ceremony will be in Miami, FL, at 3:30 p.m., on November 5th.
⚜️Address: Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 14187 SW 72nd St, Miami, FL 33183.

If you live far from Miami, and do not have the opportunity to travel and participate in person, we still will be united in our online consecration. It is always the Immaculate Heart of Mary that unites us! ❤️ And God willing, there will be opportunities to meet.

Consecration Scroll:

📜So you can pray the Consecration, during the Holy Mass, I will send you, the Consecration prayer.
✨ If it is possible, print it out, and then, on the day of the Consecration, sign it and keep it as a token of this commitment.

Confession and communion

Since many have asked, I am sending you an Examination of Conscience to help you prepare for your Consecration:
After examining your conscience, ask for forgiveness for your faults, without the slightest feeling of discouragement, and make your resolutions to amend.

The best thing is to go to confession as soon as possible, putting aside any shame in declaring your faults to the confessor, since it is through the Sacrament of Confession that Our Lord, in His infinite Mercy, has willed that we receive His forgiveness. I am sure that this confession will be the occasion of great graces.

However, we well know that, as a result of the pandemic or some other obstacle, not everyone will be able to go to confession. If this is your case, do not be troubled.🙏🙏 Make an Act of Contrition, repenting of your sins, asking God for forgiveness, and have confidence. Consecrate yourself without fear, waiting for the occasion when Our Lady will give you the grace to receive this sacrament!
Regardless of whether you attend the Mass online, and pray the Consecration prayer with us at that time, it is highly recommended that you attend a Mass in person when possible, and receive Communion if you are prepared to do so.

Remember there is no reason why you should not consecrate yourself. If you have not had the opportunity to attend all the lessons, or even if you have not prayed all the prayers listed, do not hesitate to consecrate yourself to Our Lady! She will accept and perfect the commitment you make, as well as the dispositions of your soul.🌹

Let us pray: O Lord Jesus Christ, Who hast said: Ask and ye shall receive;
seek and ye shall find; knock and it shall be opened unto you; grant,
we beseech Thee, to us who ask the gift of Thy divine love, that we may ever
love Thee with all our hearts, and in all our words and actions, and never
cease praising Thee.
Give us, O Lord, a perpetual fear and love of Thy holy Name; for Thou never
failest to govern those whom Thou dost solidly establish in Thy love.
Who livest and reignest world without end. Amen.
O most loving Jesus, deign to let me pour forth my gratitude before Thee, for the grace Thou hast bestowed upon me in giving me to Thy holy Mother through the devotion of Holy Bondage, that she may be my advocate in the presence of Thy majesty and my support in my extreme misery. Alas, O Lord! I am so wretched that without this dear Mother I should be certainly lost. Yes, Mary is necessary for me at Thy side and everywhere: that she may appease Thy just wrath because I have so often offended Thee; that she may save me from the eternal punishment of Thy justice, which I deserve; that she may contemplate Thee, speak to Thee, pray to Thee, approach Thee and please Thee; that she may help me to save my soul and the souls of others; in short, Mary is necessary for me that I may always do Thy holy will and seek Thy greater glory in all things. Ah, would that I could proclaim throughout the whole world the mercy that Thou hast shown to me! Would that everyone might know I should be already damned, were it not for Mary! Would that I might offer worthy thanksgiving for so great a blessing! Mary is in me. Oh, what a treasure! Oh, what a consolation! And shall I not be entirely hers? Oh, what ingratitude! My dear Saviour, send me death rather than such a calamity, for I would rather die than live without belonging entirely to Mary.

With St. John the Evangelist at the foot of the cross, I have taken her a thousand times for my own and as many times have given myself to her; but if I have not yet done it as Thou, dear Jesus, dost wish, I now renew this offering as Thou desire me to renew it. And if Thou seest in my soul or my body anything that does not belong to this august princess, I pray Thee to take it and cast it far from me, for whatever in me does not belong to Mary is unworthy of Thee.

O Holy Spirit, grant me all these graces. Plant in my soul the Tree of true Life, which is Mary; cultivate it and tend it so that it may grow and blossom and bring forth the fruit of life in abundance. O Holy Spirit, give me great devotion to Mary, Thy faithful spouse; give me great confidence in her maternal heart and an abiding refuge in her mercy, so that by her Thou mayest truly form in me Jesus Christ, great and mighty, unto the fullness of His perfect age. Amen.
O Jesus Christ, you are my Father, my merciful God, my great King, my good Shepherd, my only Master, my best helper, my beloved friend of overwhelming beauty, my living Bread, my eternal priest. You are my guide to my heavenly home, my one true light, my holy joy, my true way, my shining wisdom, my unfeigned simplicity, the peace and harmony of my soul, my perfect safeguard, my bounteous inheritance, my everlasting salvation.

My loving Lord, Jesus Christ, why have I ever loved or desired anything else in my life but you, my God? Where was I when I was not in communion with you? From now on, I direct all my desires to be inspired by you and centred on you. I direct them to press forward for they have tarried long enough, to hasten towards their goal, to seek the one they yearn for.

O Jesus, let him who does not love you be accursed, and filled with bitterness. O gentle Jesus, let every worthy feeling of mine show you love, take delight in you and admire you. O God of my heart and my inheritance, Christ Jesus, may my heart mellow before the influence of your spirit and may you live in me. May the flame of your love burn in my soul. May it burn incessantly on the altar of my heart. May it glow in my innermost being. May it spread its heat into the hidden recesses of my soul and on the day of my consummation may I appear before you consumed in your love. Amen.
O Jesus living in Mary

Come and live in Thy servants,

In the spirit of Thy holiness,

In the fulness of Thy might,

In the truth of Thy virtues,

In the perfection of Thy ways,

In the communion of Thy mysteries,

Subdue every hostile power

In Thy spirit, for the glory of the Father. Amen.
